AUD/NZD posts highest daily close since December

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The AUD/NZD rose again on Tuesday and posted the highest daily close since December 3rd, 2013 at 1.1035. During the Asian session, a weak Kiwi pushed the pair to the upside and broke above 1.1010.

Price peaked on Tuesday at 1.1045 but then pulled back finding support at 1.1010 and then bounced back toward daily highs.

AUD/NZD levels to consider

To the downside, immediate support ahead of the Asian session could be located at 1.1010 (recent intraday low) and below here at 1.0980/85 (July 28, 29 low). To the upside, resistance now lies at 1.1045 (July 29 high) and above here at 1.1065 followed by 1.1110 (November 26, 27 low).

US stocks close negative amid Ukraine fears

Wall Street finished negative on Tuesday after trading positive almost the whole session. Investors initially cheered upbeat earnings reports and consumer confidence data, however concerns over Ukraine crisis hurt market sentiment.
