Based on CME Group 30-Day Fed Fund futures prices, which expresses the market’s views on the likelihood of changes in U.S. monetary policy, the chances of a rate hike by the Federal Reserve in March is only 2%. The pricing of further Fed rate hikes has been deteriorating steadily in the last few weeks, to the point that market participants no longer expect another rate hike this year, with the chance of another rate hike by February 201 at 30%.
